Lead Agent
The first phase of the project (September 2001 to September 2004) was administered by Stewartry Council of Voluntary Service which was the lead agent for ERDF funding.
The second phase of the project (October 2004 to December 2006) is administered by Borders Forum of Councils for Voluntary Service.
Project Monitoring Committee
Each of the partner CVSs, the Borders Forum of Councils for Voluntary Service (BFCVS) and the Dumfries and Galloway Federation of Councils of Voluntary Service (DGFCVS) elects representatives from their Boards of Directors to the SoSNet Project Monitoring Committee. This committee oversees the progress of the project. Representatives from the Local Authorities and Enterprise Companies in Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway also sit on the Project Monitoring Committee.
Operation/ Strategic Planning
Operational aspects of phase 1 of SoSNet were managed by an Operations Group comprising the Organisers of the partner CVSs and the SoSNet Central Staff.
In SoSNet 2 the Operations Group has been replaced by a Strategic Planning Forum which consists of essentially the same membership with the addition of the SoSNet Project Manager.
